The Cape Grace, a “walk-in storybook”

6000 meters of hand painted fabric with over 50 bespoke designs ensured the “canvases” of the hotel were full of depth and texture—providing a foundation for Kathi, designer extraordinaire, to tell an engaging story through décor.

It was a creative challenge when Kathi requested that all suites be different and no more than 10 standard rooms be the same, just forced us to develop the core idea, discovering the stories of the Cape, which yielded fabric designs full of meaning and soul.
