Inspiration for custom fabrics can be as precise as a photograph or as indefinite as a quick conversation. And quickly rough sketches come to life.  The next round of sketches showcases how the design translates into an actual fabric design:  repeats, borders, etc. The colors of the new fabric are often dictated by the other colors in the space—as we can paint any color you want.

With approved colors and base cloth, the first prototypes are produced for approval.  And the completed curtains, while reminiscent of that first picture of the dolphin fountain, are completely unique and captivating.
